Evelyn Whitney was born and raised in Chicago, IL. While creative writing was always one of her interests, even since her youngest days, she studied Computer Science and Electrical Engineering in college, and later amassed an extensive work history through various industries in various levels of management in the public and private sector.
A snapshot of her professional experience includes human resource operations, quality control, executive director operations, multiple levels of customer service, and creation of operations manuals for applications processing and payment processing software, for use in the originating office and as a resource for other offices. She earned a business degree before working in legal services.
Many of her career opportunities and accomplishments were celebrated, and she wanted to add her life-long passion for writing to the list. When she decided to publish a book, the plethora of societal nuances made writing a book on ‘communication’ the easiest clear choice.
